It’s our first party of a brand new year, and we’re starting things right. Parkside are extremely excited to announce our very first bash for 2013, joined by German deep house legend H.O.S.H. 

Holger Bahn (aka H.O.S.H) is credited not just as a world-class DJ and label boss, but a recognizable force in the steering of house into uncharted territory. His productions + remixes – released on the likes of the legendary Get Physical, Strictly Rhtyhm, Tsuba and his own Diynamic Imprint – blend house staples with an array of dubbed out influences and worldly samples geared for the club. As a world touring DJ, Bahn’s prolonged exposure to the dance floor has ensured an ability to work it every time, bringing his in-demand style down to Wollongong following a headline appearance at the Spice Afloat NYE boat cruise.

We are more than proud to be hosting what is easily our biggest guest yet, and an extremely rare opportunity to catch this name in an intimate setting. Entry is free before 8pm with drink specials all night. If the absolutely mental Christmas party was anything to go by, we recommend you get down there quick.

After a stellar eight months hosting some of Australia’s finest, Parkside are extremely excited to announce a special performance from one of the UK’s most acclaimed DJs and dancefloor champions, HORSE MEAT DISCO! 

Heading into their eighth year, Horse Meat Disco have led the pack in debaucharous Sundays at their much-loved residency at London’s The Eagle. Inspired by the music and inclusive ethos of New York’s club scene, the collective have garnered a unique reputation for amazing parties and unmatchable
sets, mixing their quality blend of disco juice with all manner of dancefloor fillers: be it punk funk, House, Italo, Electric bangers or plain old oddities! This is the party that makes other DJ’s nervous – hosting the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Derrick Carter, Daniel Baldelli, Andrew Weatherall, Dimitry from Paris, Todd Terje and… well… just about everyone a dancefloor could dream for.

As darlings of the in-the-know dance world, HMD make regular appearances on stages at Glastonbury Festival, Fabric London, Berlin’s ‘The Tape Organization’, Lux in Lisbon and secret lofts in New York City, with continual involvement with ultra-sleek fashion house Chanel. No strangers to our own sunny shores, Horse Meat Disco are riding high off the back of a national tour with the 2012 Future Music Festival, and headline performances alongside Azari & III at the Sydney Opera House’s ‘Vivid Live’ Festival.

Their white-hot disco compilations, on the acclaimed Studio !K7 Records will be celebrating their fourth edition in early November (alongside a top secret vinyl edits series for those in the know). Come and celebrate this release with one of the worlds finest, juiciest and downright fun DJ’s we will ever have the pleasure of getting down to.

To celebrate the day, we’re stoked to once again welcome Sydney’s freshest house crew, BAD APPLE to the Parkside stage as BEN ASHTON & JACK FULLER drop down to bring the underground badness that has turned their brand into one of Sydney’s hottest creations.

Founded just last year, Bad Apple are on a touring hot streak, hosting some of Sydney’s busiest underground house nights with ease. Selling out massive shows for the likes of Huxley, Thomas Schumacher and Tiefschwarz, the guys have supported house legends like Derrick Carter, Nic Fanciuli, Butch, Radioslave and John Digweed. Looking ahead, Bad Apple will be hosting a room at the white-hot Circo Loco party (with Jamie Jones and DJ W!LD) and the sold-out Chinese Laundry Rooftop Pool Party with Hernan Catteneo. With lineups this big, expect the kind of dancefloor bullets that make it happen.

Ben Ashton & Jack Fuller will be joined by the always limit-pushing Parkside DJ’s (and friends). If past Public Holiday shows are anything to go by, we suggest you get down very…very early to avoid the lines. This is gonna be big.
