BUTCH & EDU IMBERNON

WHERE: Brown Alley
WHEN: Friday, February 8, 2013

Under One Roof is back for its first party of 2013 and what better way to kick it off with the highly diverse and long time favourite BUTCH along with the young fast rising talent in EDU IMBERNON

Tickets now on sale!!

BUTCH

Brute name, versatile sound: Over 100 releases in 5 years have enabled BUTCH to express this versatility and brute-fully force his way to becoming a shaping artist in the worldwide
landscape of electronic music.

Honestly this success comes as no surprise, anyone who manages to release on the labels of artists such as Ricard Villalobos (Sei es Drum), Sven Väth (Cocoon) and Radioslave (Rekids) within a year and gets voted “producer of the year” (2010 & 2011) by the GROOVE magazine readers for two consecutive years, has doubtlessly worked his way up to the small circle of artists, which pack the most renowned clubs and festivals as headliners.

For Butch his latest performances include Tokyo's own Womb, Fabric in London, Cielo in New York and the Time Warp 2011. Last summer he followed Carl Cox's invitation to play together at Space in Ibiza and spent every other week with his own residency at Sankeys on the most beloved Mediterranean island. 2012 started just like the last year ended – many more miles were added to the Lufthansa card: After a tour through Mexico, Central America and Australia, top notch clubs in Europe are waiting for Butch: Robert Johnson in Offenbach,
Tenax in Florence, Cadenza at Ushuaia Beach (Ibiza), Loveland in the Netherlands, Extrema Festival in Belgium and the renowned “Sonne Mond und Sterne” as well as the “Merkwürdige Verhalten am Strand” - festivals are all expecting to be captured by Butch's sound. On the other hand capturing what Butch's style is exactly isn't that simple. The range within the productions of the Mainz born artist stretches from House to Techno, but Butch manages to inject his own authentic and unique sound, which digs itself through the fans' and DJs' ears right into their hearts.

The musical diversity and his joy for experimentation have made his albums “Papillon” (2008) and “Eyes Wide Open” (2010) to audible feasts for every gourmet, to be enjoyed just as much on the home stereo as well as in any club.

That his sound achieves positive resonance en masse is impressively shown on the Resident Advisor homepage. The website which claims to be an international indicator for the credibility of electronic music and its producers, had Butch up as the “Most Charted Artist” for over a year. A success which speaks volumes, because it cannot be manipulated as record sales once were; solely the charts of a worldwide DJ community count.

The good-spirited global player has a lot more music coming for us to look forward to. More new releases on other top labels are ready to hit the floors, furthermore (as well as on anstatt furthermore?) his own record label bouq. which is maturing to be the renowned imprint which won't be standing in the shadows of its makers (besides Butch this includes his friend and studio-partner Amir) any longer. By the way, within the next twelve months, Butch will hit the stores with a new album. Good times, stay tuned!

EDU IMBERNON

Edu Imbernon is a great example of how a young artist can pave his way to become respected on the electronic scene with his talent as producer and dj.

After the worldwide hit “El baile alemán” (Liebe Detail, 2009) produced with his friend Coyu, appointed “Best Underground Track of the Year” by Beatport , several tracks for labels as important as Get Physical, Young Turks, Skint, Stil vor Talent, Cr2, Noir Music, Trapez, Great Stuff, Dynamic and his own label Eklektisch.

His quality as producer and his ability to add a nu-disco tint to the dancefloor edge of his tracks have led him to remix bands such as The XX showcasing this homogenous blend of electronica, house and indie. Succesful remixes for Maya Jane Coles or X-press2 came afterwards.

The emergence of Edu Imbernon on the dance scene couldn’t go by unnoticed by the specialised press which has acknowledged his artistic quality by awarding him several prizes: Best New Producer 2010 and Best Track 2010 and 2011 at the Spanish Dance Music awards, and also named an up-and-coming star by Beatport in 2010.

His aim is to make music that can be felt, full of energy to reach the audience. “This is the only way that people will remember your music, trying to make them feel something special and making them dance”, in the words of this young artist who’s already played on 4 continents. He’s here to make his mark!

SMALLTOWN with DIXON, GUY GERBER & HUXLEY

WHERE: Prince of Wales
WHEN: Friday, February 22, 2013

Smalltown with Dixon, Guy Gerber & Huxley.

Tickets on sale -

Through the summer months, smalltown retreats into the coolest intimate spaces in Melbourne to deliver our favourite artists up-close & personal. Sometimes bigger is not better and from December to march smalltown will be presenting you like-minded souls with some tasteful house artists in limited capacity events. We can’t be more pleased to announce that for the next smalltown we will be hosting three of House music’s most talked about artists: Germany’s legendary Dixon, Israel's music ambassador Guy Gerber and promising UK House cat, Huxley

Dixon -

In his native Berlin Dixon is a dead set legend. For almost 20 years Dixon has been one of the main protagonists of House music in Berlin and has tirelessly worked away since the early 90’s to carve out a niche for House music in a predominantly techno dominated city. Back when Dixon started his House flavoured Innervisions imprint, he had to play second fiddle to a more minimal tech sound that was influencing the electronic music world. Thanks to his infamous edits, unique DJ sets and banging mix CDs such as "The Grandfather Paradox" on BBE (compiled together with Henrik Schwarz and Ame) and "Temporary Secretary” on Innervisions, Dixon slowly started to put House music back on the map. It wasn’t long after the Dixon discovered duo of Ame hit the scene with the now infamous ‘Rej’ on the Innervisions label, that the reputations of Dixon and the Innervisions label got cemented as one of the most celebrated tastemaker labels and acts in the world.

But really, it’s the club where Dixon shines the brightest as his inclusion in the annual Resident Advisor Top 10 DJ’s poll will attest to (he has been a regular visitor to this poll since 2009). His residencies from those early years onwards have schooled him to achieve a stylistic and technical versatility that can only be attained through years of playing; his skills, attitude, stamina and experience have been honed on countless nights finding different ways to direct a loyal crowd on the dance floor. Believe the hype; Dixon spends hours trying to find and select the right music to achieve the levels of intensity that is needed; hours spent planning the imminent night’s structure and proceedings, and then hours spent putting it into action. Dixon is always more than happy to spend this much time on his performance as he takes his profession seriously; in fact, it is exactly what matters most to him as he has always been, and he always will be, a DJ first.

Guy Gerber -

Guy Gerber has always been comfortable as an outlier. From being the rock kid at the rave, to the Israeli DJ on the European club circuit, to the electronic producer with a fetish for live instruments, he tends to skirt the edge of whatever scene he's in. It's a position that suits him well––so far it's led to dozens of lush, melodic records, an ever-evolving live act and his own label, Supplement Facts. This nonconformist attitude, combined with the emotional content of his art (so rare in today's electronic music), explains how Gerber keeps his audience locked in, be it on record or on stage.

Before he was fiddling with drum machines and synths, Gerber was all about groups like Joy Division and My Bloody Valentine. These influences still echo clearly in his music today, especially in his use of harmony, contemplative moods and trippy, shoegaze-inspired sounds. It's a style that's anything but conventional, yet one that quickly drew in some of Europe's most popular labels; three years after his recording debut, Gerber released the first of several records on John Digweed's Bedrock imprint. A couple of years later, Sven Väth signed him to Cocoon, eventually releasing his album Late Bloomers. All the while, he was building Supplement Facts from the ground up, showcasing his own productions alongside those by likeminded artists, and illustrating each record sleeve by hand, so each release embodied his distinct creative panache.

These days Gerber has the kind of artistic freedom he's always wanted, and it shows. Supplement Facts is more adventurous than ever, melding organic with electronic sounds. Meanwhile, he's embarked on his most unexpected project yet: an album with P Diddy, who hired him for some remixes and took him on more permanently after hearing the results. Now the hip-hop icon flies Gerber out to his studio in LA to work, where he gives him “2000% artistic freedom.” The experience has been transformative.“Something opened my mind out there,” says Gerber, noting how his approach to music has changed. For one, his rock roots are seeping back in; despite being named one of RA's top 10 acts of the year, he's scrapping his laptop for something more “live,” playing bass guitar over drum machines, and remembering the importance of lyrics. It's impossible to say where all of this is headed, but with a talent as bold and unorthodox as Gerber's, it couldn't happen any other way.

Huxley -

Ask any house purist about who they think might be the most exciting producer currently working in the House scene and the answer will most probably be Huxley.

Hailing from Tring (Tring is in Herfordshire UK and is often referred to as one third of the holy trinity of house music cities alongside Detroit and Chicago), Huxley has been blowing our collective minds for a couple of years now with gorgeous deep house releases on labels like Cecille and Tsuba – often in tandem with regular collaborator Ethyl – and indulging his love of heavier, 2-step garage on singles like ‘Shower Scene’, a phenomenal release from last year on Act Natural Records. For a compass on Huxley’s talents look no further than one of 2012′s most distinctive house tracks (released on Hypercolour) in ‘Let It Go’; a track that showed a maturity and sound that belies Huxley’s young age.

As a remixer, the Tring man is hugely in demand, turning his hand to major label talents with as much flair and skill as he does underground cornerstones like Lee Burridge or Maya Jane Coles. Completing the picture is his Djing – another perfect string to his bow that sees him tour his open minded and deftly programmed music selections in clubs and festivals across the world on a weekly basis.

Going forward, there's more of the impeccable same and more than a smattering of surprises on the way from Huxley. Singles for his tight knit group of labels (he just describes them as 'mates'), more collaborative projects with the likes of Sam Russo and Ethyl, production projects for vocalists (he's not naming names) and carefully chosen remixes are all on the way and, if anyone who has heard recent sets for Rinse FM and Fact Magazine will know, more on-point DJ sets that span house, garage, techno and beyond.

SASHA

WHERE: Chasers Nightclub
WHEN: Sunday, January 27, 2013

The Likes of You presents..

The return of UK heavy weight,

SASHA!!! for a blinding 5 hour performance!

TICKETS ON SALE NOW!

National events to follow but here is little something on the man himself...

It would be an understatement to call Britain’s Alexander Coe a DJ pioneer. As Sasha, he had led dance music since the late '80s and has built a legacy that few, if any, DJs will ever match.

You could say that the world first noticed Sasha when Mixmag made him their cover star in 1991. It was the first time a DJ had ever been featured on a magazine cover. In a lead article titled Sasha Mania: The First DJ Pin-up?, a journalist wrote, "Whereas there have been plenty of star DJs before, Sasha is the first to be so successful precisely because of his DJing."

Two decades on that statement still rings true. For all that Sasha has achieved - the seminal mix albums, the rock star tours, the enduring club anthems - it is his groundbreaking DJ moments that truly built his career. And there have been so many of them.

Take 1994's 'Renaissance: The Mix Collection', the triple CD that Sasha mixed together with his longstanding DJ partner John Digweed. It was the world's first commercial DJ mix CD and is now considered one of electronic music's greatest ever recordings. "The first Renaissance CD really put myself and John [Digweed] on the map," says Sasha. "It was the first time anyone had done a properly packaged mix compilation."

Two years later Sasha and John Digweed produced another dance music milestone, the mix CD ‘Northern Exposure’, for Ministry of Sound. "That album was a chance for John and I to do something that was more about head music, a mix for after the clubs had finished," Sasha says. "I don't think anyone had done that before." There is also the not so small matter of Sasha's definitive 1999 mix CD, 'Global Underground 013: Ibiza'. It is, quite simply, the best-selling DJ mix of all-time.

However, it is not just his decisive mix albums that made Sasha a global star. The British DJ has always been known for his magic touch behind the decks, ever since he began spinning records in the late ‘80s. It is an intangible quality – his extraordinary ability to light up dancefloors and entrance crowds – that made Sasha the original superstar DJ.

His habit of breaking new clubland boundaries also helped. He was the first DJ to tour America like a rock star. Delta Heavy, his 2002 USA tour with John Digweed, saw the duo embark on a gruelling 35-date bus tour with a full stage show. The mammoth gigs – in warehouses, theatres and arenas for crowds of up to 15,000 - made them household names in a country that was only just waking up to dance music.

Sasha’s revolutionary 2004 album 'Involver' also broke new ground. The mix CD, which consisted entirely of Sasha’s reworks of tracks by other artists, was his first major work after moving to a digital DJing platform. It defined his new DJ style - mixing at a molecular level. Indeed, he was so far ahead of the curve when he adopted the software program Ableton Live for his club sets that he had to design a custom controller, called the MAVEN, as no suitable technology existed on the market.

Sasha has never stopped pushing the frontiers of dance music. Today, he is excited by his new audio-visual show V_rtek, a large-scale DJ production that sees him perform whilst surrounded by huge L.E.D. screens. Every sound he plays is synchronised to animation and visuals, which provide a mesmerizing visual and sonic assault of the senses. “I use V_rtek when I want to make a big statement,” says Sasha. “We plan the shows meticulously, and there’s no hanging about with the music - it’s like the last hour of one of my five hour sets when everyone is already going bonkers. I re-edit all of the tracks that I play just for the set.”

Sasha has taken his explosive V_rtek show to major festivals like Big Day Out, Coachella, Glastonbury, and Good Vibrations, not that he is particularly concerned with reaching a mass audience. His regular Never Say Never events at Ushuaia, an under-the-radar beach bar in Ibiza, are a perfect example of his desire to remain rooted to dance music’s underground. “At Usuhaia in the summer of 2010 I got to cultivate a sound that I really loved,” he says. “The music was more of an after hours sound, very melodic and blissed out, and with it being at Usuhaia on an Ibiza beach, it felt very summery. It’s a sound very close to my heart, but at same time I still love the big sound of my V_ortek shows.”

This duality - this conflict between two sounds - has always existed in Sasha. For every headlining, peak-time set he plays at a major dance festival like Creamfields or South West Four, there is a five-hour Sasha journey at London’s Fabric, Tokyo’s Womb or New York City’s Cielo. “I’ve always had two sides to what I do because I’ve always tried to straddle that line,” he says. “When I was resident DJ at Twilo in New York with John, I was also resident at Fabric as part of Tyrant with Craig Richards and Lee Burridge, and no records crossed over those two residencies. At the time, I felt fully stretched musically and that’s when I really honed both sounds.”

What epitomizes Sasha more than anything though, is the fact that he never really fully jumped into the mainstream. “I never went for the commercial jugular, despite many opportunities,” he says. “When I made my name in the ‘90s doing piano break remixes for pop artists, I didn’t feel satisfied artistically and I chose a different path. That doesn’t mean to say that I wouldn't be open to working on more commercial music, but I’d much prefer to remix an Arcade Fire or a Radiohead over a 50 Cent any day.”

Sasha's magnificent dancefloor records overshadow his pop moments (notably remixes of Madonna, Seal, and D:Ream). His four-track EP ‘Xpander’ from 1999 is undoubtedly the zenith of his production career. The ambitious 11 minute lead track – an intoxicating mix of dark hypnotic melodies and spine-tingling trance – was voted by BBC Radio 1 listeners in 2011 as the third best dance track of all time. Sasha’s other famous club anthems include ‘Scorchio’, his 2000 collaboration with Underworld’s Darren Emerson, and ‘Wavey Gravy’, the hit single from his 2002 debut album ‘Airdrawndagger’.

Sasha’s debut longplayer is also considered by some to be one of electronic music’s most underrated works of genius. The 11-track opus played like a mystical voyage through the dark and beautiful side of dance music. As it moved quite brilliantly between poignant breakbeat, moving melodies, and deep four-to-the-floor grooves, it captured both his immense studio talents, and his ability to segue multiple genres, electronic rhythms and sounds into one epic piece of music.

Sasha will soon become a curator of quality dance music too. After a brief record label experiment (EmFire), Sasha will launch his own imprint this year called Last Night On Earth. The label will be Sasha’s home for supporting exciting new electronic music talent and his new solo productions. And surely, Sasha being Sasha, the label will be a resounding success.

How to explain his Midas touch though? Well Sasha answered that 20 years ago, in that first Mixmag article: “Seeing my face in a magazine is great, but the DJing is what it is all about”.

GUESS WHO? With HEIDI

WHERE: Circus Bar & Nightclub
WHEN: Sunday, January 27, 2013

Growing up in Windsor, Ontario Canada, just across the border from Detroit, Heidi had a childhood filled with the sounds of classic rock, blues and folk. It wasn’t long, though, before the sounds of the Motor City and Chicago led her to a deep and lifelong passion for underground dance music.

A move to London in 2000 to immerse herself in the music scene led to a job working at the now defunct Koobla Records, and in 2003 Heidi was part of the team that opened up London’s foremost record shop, Phonica. Through her work there she gained invaluable experience of the scene and underground culture, and began helping put together sets for many of the country’s top DJs. This soon led her from vinyl fanatic to budding DJ, of which the wildly successful Get Physical label took note in 2004, making her a unique staple for the label in Berlin, where she currently resides.

Throughout the last few years Heidi has played the world’s best clubs including Fabric, Panoramabar, Womb, Space Ibiza, with residencies at Watergate and Monza, having played on every continent except Antarctica in 2009 alone. The festival circuit has also welcomed her, showcasing her booty-shaking beats on the stages of DEMF, UltraFest, Bestival, Electric Zoo, Exit Festival, Balaton, and many more.

In 2008, her impeccable tune selection combined with a charismatic and energetic personality landed her a monthly slot on the BBC’s ‘In New DJ’s We Trust’ on Radio 1, where she can interview her favorite artists, and generally exhibit her passion for music ranging from underground house and techno to disco. Breaking some of the biggest DJ's on the scene now, on air for the first time.

June 2011 saw her release her first highly acclaimed mixed compilation of the same name with exclusive tracks made for her by various well known and unknown DJ's and producers who she adores. April saw her begin her brand new show with BBC Radio 1, called Radio 1's Residency. She will continue to drive the sounds of the underground to a much wider audience championing new music and new artists.

Looking ahead, Heidi will continue to conquer the dance music world, starting her own night and label called Heidi presents the Jackathon featuring the talents who have inspired and moved her, a series that she tours globally. With her energy behind the decks and an infectious style of DJing, it's hard to stand still when Heidi is in control... keep a close eye on this lady, and keep shaking your ass on her dancefloor.

LUKE SLATER [MOTE EVOLVER, UK]

Having burst back onto the scene in 2009 with his Planetary Assault Systems 'Temporary Suspension' album on Berlin's tastemaker Ostgut Ton label, Luke Slater has been instrumental in reinvigorating the scene which he helped to create by bringing back techno's traditional, purist values. The human embodiment of the cyclical nature of music, Slater's many incarnations have, at various points in the past two decades, come to define techno.

In 2011 the veteran producer emerged from his Spacestation UK studio to release his second P.A.S album on Ostgut Ton; 'The Messenger'. Through hypnotising tracks like 'Human Like Us', 'Bell Blocker' or 'Motif' that churn and undulate in addictive tension, to heavy club workouts like the thundering 'Rip The Cut', 'Kray Squid' or the riotous 'Cold Bolster', to more subdued and spaced-out moments like 'Railer' or 'Beauty In The Fear' Slater has created a highly critically praised electronic album which is as listenable as it is challenging, memorable and progressive and continuous to receive heavy club rotations from peers and fans worldwide.

Over 12 tracks of exploratory techno and electronica, Slater chases that fundamental wave - seeking new sounds while staying true to the original P.A.S. ideology and channels an on-going search for new ground into cutting-edge modern music, from non-conformist techno to exquisite electronica.

The impact of both albums can be measured against the demand for Slater's worldwide DJ travels schedule and the Planetary Assault Systems Live performances that Luke and his crew have been touring for the past 3 years at festivals and clubs including Berghain, Tomorrowland, AgeHa, Time Warp, Amnesia, ADE, Fabric, Melt!, Dour Festival, Mysteryland, I Love Techno, BLOC, Klubbers Day, Aquasella, Space, Electrobeach Festival, Atomic Jam, DEAF, Social Club, Nature One and Awakenings.

Meanwhile, Luke's Mote-Evolver imprint has impressed with a run of very well received releases spanning the range of the genre. With dancefloor bombs from Planetary Assault Systems, Shifted, Marcel Fengler and Psyk + deep space techno from Lucy, Samuli Kemppi, L.B. Dub Corp and various peak time dancefloor reworks; Mote-Evolver continues to deliver fresh momentum to the scene by steadfastly sticking to the twin values of consistent quality and varied content.

Summer Series with Laura Jones

Every once in a while on this scene of ours, the stars align and a new name spins out across the cosmos. In 2012 that name is Laura Jones.

A protégé under the Visionquest banner and nurtured under the wings of Leftroom, Laura exploded into the public consciousness in 2011 with her deep and intrinsically melodic vision of house. Her ‘Live A Little’ track was included on the ‘Visionquest Spring’ sampler, and her breakthrough single ‘Love In Me’ stormed the Beatport chart and held the no.1 spot for several consecutive weeks – the second time courtesy of stellar remixes from Maceo Plex, Kate Simko and Eats Everything.

With both her music and DJ sets now resonating across dancefloors worldwide, Laura has laid the groundwork for another year in the limelight.

In the months ahead we can expect to see much more of Laura’s diminutive stature, which include plans to incorporate more of her own vocals in her productions. Additionally, the in-demand producer has a star-spangled forthcoming release schedule lined up, including remixing Hollis P Monroe’s classic ‘I’m Lonely’ on Noir Music, as well as ‘Inner Place’ on Crosstown Rebels, along with a full artist EP for Visionquest, which dots the I on this latest slate of music. Crossing the T on her climb through the DJ ranks is the ‘Leftroom presents Laura Jones’ mix compilation which, this April, will allow Laura to present a snapshot of the music which is helping to move her, literally, around the world.

Summer Series with Nick Curly

A relentless and unstoppable Nick Curly heads into 2012 on the back of yet another excellent year. Nick once again reached the highest echelons of Resident Advisor’s annual DJ poll, released Cocoon’s biggest selling 12” of 2011 and his residency at Space Ibiza’s Kehakuma continued to break new ground. Unquestionably proud of his home-town, this Mannheim native’s talent and determination has long outlasted the hype that broke out in the late 00’s over the house sound which emerged there.

TODD TERJE (3hrs)

Along with his compatriots Prins Thomas and Hans-Peter Lindstrom, Todd Terje was instrumental in the development of the unique Norwegian nu-disco sound that materialized at the end of the last decade. Infamous for his remixes and edits, Terje brings a delicate and nuanced touch to anything he lays his hands on.

Now with his latest EPs, Ragysh and It's The Arps, Terje has shown the world the might of his original productions. Tracks such as Snooze 4 Love and Inspector Nors have become staples in the current nu-disco scene. With an analog flair, he not only continues to keep Norway on the map as a disco epicenter, but proves that the nu-disco scene continues to evolve and thrive the world over.

Following a string of celebrated releases leaning on everything from kitschy euro sounds to deep funk and latin jazz, the relatively new to the scene Todd Terje has already made his mark within dance music circuits. Gems such as the cheese monster “Eurodans” and the latin disco-fueled edit of Jacko’s “Can’t Help it” under his Tangoterje edit-moniker instantly made industry types and clubbers alike go bananas. Whatever the 25 year old Norwegian puts his fingers on, it always comes out with that crucial blend of musicality and playfulness.

Is it house, funk, techno or disco? Terje speaks of catchy rhythms, dubby sounds, dreamy synth layers, cinematic moods, a playful approach and searching for that one nerve when asked to describe his music, and the resistance to being pigeonholed is obvious.

“I both like playing big room/macho style, but at the same time it’s the girls I play for really. So I guess it’s a mixture of high octane, leather homo disco done up with mambo, coconuts and lipstick.” -Todd Terje

Summer Series with Mark Henning

London's Mark Henning has risen up as one of the underground's true players - recording for has spent most of his life in England, though has never forgotten his German roots and is now firmly settled in Berlin. Having released his debut album ‘Jupiter Jive’ on legendary UK institution Soma Recordings in the summer of 2008 to great acclaim, followed up with eight EPs in 2009, Mark is currently concentrating on DJing and touring his Live PA all over the world. This is one artist who is really breaking out of the mold, having been picked as a nominee for DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards for Best Breakthrough Act 2009.

Mark’s sound sits somewhere between house and techno, with a healthy dose of funk, swing, darkness and weirdness - all the required ingredients to have the crowds busting crazy moves on the dancefloor. He has established his artist career not just through his productions – on well-regarded labels such as Soma, Clink, Watergate, Cynosure, Frankie, Trapez, Freude am Tanzen and Einmaleins - but also through his worldwide performances, having performed at clubs such as Fabric, Watergate, Rex Club, Weekend, SPACE, Privilege, Bar 25, Panorama Bar, The Arches, Lux and Harry Klein to name just a few, as well as festivals such as Portugal’s BOOM, Vienna’s PraterUnser and Chocolate Festival in Lausanne. Mark also plays regularly for Zurich favourite Cityfox.

Mark’s tracks have been licensed to WATERGATE, BUGGED OUT, FABRIC and M-NUS compilations amongst others - as well as achieving regular airplay on radio stations worldwide. His much-respected productions have been supported and played out regularly over the past few years by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Akufen, Steve Bug, Loco Dice and Richie Hawtin. As a remixer, he also keeps busy - having reworked tracks by artists such as Mike Monday, Gaetano Parisio, Mr. G, Lee Jones, Tigerskin and Chris Fortier. With upcoming releases on Cityfox and Soma later this year, Mark continues to prove himself as a consistent producer of quality, quirky house music. A true talent simmering at the surface, 2012 will expose Mr Henning to even greater frontiers.
